A Profile In Courage: New Series Coming Your Way
At the start of the year I talked about how "courage" was going to be a main focus for 2017. This week, more than ever, I am reminded how important that will be. Okay, I'm going to go all "high school essay" on you for a second to give you the definition of 'courage' because I think it's important to note:
Courage is "the ability to do something that frightens one."
That is an ACTION word. Courage is about ACTIVELY DOING SOMETHING that scares you, or that stands in the face of fear. I could talk about my personal experiences with courage forever, but I'm just one person—and at the end of the day, inspiration from just one person's perspective gets a little tired. So in this new series, "A Profile In Courage," I am setting out to interview OTHER people about the ways they've tapped into courage in their lives.
There's no limit to the range of subjects we'll cover.
Courage exists in all areas of our lives, from our careers to our relationships to our basic everyday interactions with strangers. I told you I was going to start getting vulnerable about courage and that's exactly what we're about to do. I'm looking forward to launching the first interview next week and hope you'll join me on this journey! If you're interested in updates, sign up below: [yikes-mailchimp form="6" submit="YES!
