Non-Violent Communication (NVC) is a framework developed by psychologist Marshall Rosenberg. It is centered on naming your feelings and identifying the core needs behind those feelings. This allows you to meet your needs. I love this modality because it connects you to your inner world and empowers you to make choices that support your highest self.
Somatic is a fancy word to describe ‘physical sensations in the body.’ Your nervous system operates on a somatic level, so it only makes sense to (a) learn its unique language, and (b) use the feeling space to help regulate your nervous system when it is activated.
In my work, I combine the framework of NVC with somatic techniques that help you connect to yourself deeper so that you can understand your narratives, find safety in your body, embrace your inherent worthiness, and learn to trust your choices.
I offer one-on-one client sessions as well as online journeying tools that you can navigate on your own time.
